Gatefold scored cards

Gatefold cards are really popular and it's not difficult to set up your design correctly and order on our website 🥰.

Because digital printing can experience movement in any direction, it's not possible to guarantee perfect alignment of your design within a 1-2mm tolerance. The effect of scoring (which can slightly narrow the flaps of your card), the thickness' (gsm) of different card stocks, and mechanical movement within the printer will vary results and is outside of The Printery's control.

Please take this into consideration when you're designing your gatefold! If you're concerned about alignment, we recommend a printed scored card sample before committing to a larger print run.

ORDERING

1. Select your finished folded) card size from The Printery tab. Not all sizes are available as scored cards.
2. Filter Printing By Type and choose Scored Card.
3. Choose the type of printing you want (digital CMYK colour, white ink etc).
4. Write in the comments 'print as gatefold'. 

DESIGN TIPS

1. The flat (unfolded) size remains the same ie folded size 120x180 = flat size 240x180mm. 
2. Please include a mock-up PDF of the score lines so we know where to score your gate fold.
