Creating a suitable die line for your Custom Shaped Sticker / Labels (single shape) is very similar to our instructions for other Peterkin custom die lines. But there are a few differences.
For instructions for Multi Shape designs in 100x140mm, 140x200mm and 200x290mm click here.
When you begin designing ...
Make sure your artwork is the EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE as your die line.
If your custom sticker shape is 45x60mm (for example), the artboard/document size must be 45x60mm - not floating around on a larger page. Otherwise, the artwork and the die won't match up.
Creating your die line
Your die line must be created in Adobe Illustrator or similar software that supports Vector files, NOT bitmap files like Photoshop or Canva.
-
Your die line must be a solid continuous line, no dashes or dots!
-
The outline must create a closed shape, which means if you create the shape using multiple lines they must be joined at the anchor points. You can use a pen tool or freehand tool.
-
Minimum size for cutouts or holes are 3mm
-
1 shape per die line ordered. If you have multiple shapes/sizes please order the Custom Multi Shape Sticker / Labels instead.

Peterkin Sticker / Labels adhere well to items made from paper and card, they’re single use and not repositionable so take care with placement. If you’d like to use your Sticker / Labels on surfaces other than paper, please test as results in adhesion and removal will vary. Stickers printed on the Coated paper are also suitable for short-term / temporary use on refrigerated items like personalised wine bottles.
