You'll need Adobe Illustrator or similar software that supports Vector files, NOT bitmap files like Photoshop or Canva to create the die lines for custom shapes.
You can order Multi Shape sheets of your designs in 100x140mm, 140x200mm and 200x290mm.
- Set up your stickers and die lines on artboards the same size as the Multi Design sheet size you want to order. Our example below is 200x290mm.
- All the die lines for your stickers must be a minimum 10mm from the edge of the sheet. (Bleed for your designs can extend to the edge of the sheet).
- Allow 5mm minimum between each sticker die line.
- The minimum Multi Shape sticker size is 20x20mm.
- Minimum size for cutouts or holes are 3mm
Creating your die lines
Create die lines for each shape on your sticker sheet |
The die line must be a vector (not a bitmapped/raster image) with SOLID lines, no dotted or dashed lines.
The outline must create a closed shape, which means if you create the shape using multiple lines they must be joined at the anchor points. You can use a pen tool or freehand tool.
Custom shape design tips
For fine detail and areas of your design that are small/thin, make your die line 3-5mm larger. This will create a white frame around your sticker design, and no fine detail is lost making the sticker easier to peel off. | There's a small amount of movement when your stickers are cut so don't forget to add 3mm bleed for any design that's to the edge of your die line shape. This will stop a white edge of sticker stock showing. |

Peterkin Sticker / Labels adhere well to items made from paper and card, they’re single use and not repositionable so take care with placement. If you’d like to use your Sticker / Labels on surfaces other than paper, please test as results in adhesion and removal will vary. Stickers printed on the Coated paper are also suitable for short-term / temporary use on refrigerated items like personalised wine bottles.
