What stocks are best for Digital Gold and Silver?

• Digital Gold printing is available for flat card, scored cards AND envelopes*.
• Digital Silver printing is available on flat and scored cards only*.
• Digital Gold and Silver ARE NOT available for Signage, Posters and Indie Handmade.

*Only suitable card / paper colours can be selected when ordering these digital print finishes, not all colours available.

Stocks for Digital Gold and Digital Silver

The gold and silver toners are opaque (just like white), so there’s very little change in colour when printed on different coloured stocks.

However, some stocks work better than others. Smooth stocks (especially for envelopes) give the best results with the most even toner coverage. What works for Gold doesn't necessarily work for silver. After testing our stocks we only offer in the stock drop-down the ones that will give a good result.

Please be realistic with your expectations (and manage those of your clients!)

Order a printed sample to be sure you/your client are happy with the stock choice. It can be very personal!
