Good to know
Very thin strokes (including typefaces) aren't recommended. As a guide we recommend your typeface is a minimum 7pt and no stroke is thinner than 0.25pt.
Digital Flat Foil only: super easy! Supply your design as hi-res PDF in 100% black (CMYK colour profile). Any design areas that are 100% black will Digitally Flat Foil.
Digital Flat Foil + Digital CMYK Colour / Black printing: supply a three-page PDF.
- 1 page 100% black (CMYK colour profile) to be Digitally Foiled.
- 1 page with the Digital CMYK design.
- 1 page mockup showing the finished result.
Areas to be Digitally Foiled MUST NOT TOUCH the CMYK printed design.
We can’t Digitally Flat Foil over the top of full colour digital printing.
Any areas of printing that interact with the Digital Flat Foil will print over the top with uncertain results, or create areas of foil that do not adhere properly to the card stock.
