Different types of printed sample have different turnaround times.
Good to know...
- Creating just 1 printed sample requires the same amount of work in The Printery as printing a larger run. It takes the same time to download, check and impose (positioning artwork on a larger sheet ready for printing) regardless of the quantity printed.
- When you order a printed sample, we record the machine settings that it was printed on. We keep a sample for our own records and to refer to should you decide to print more copies in the future.
- We keep digitally printed samples for reference for 3 months.
- Only digital prints that are specifically ordered as PRINTING SAMPLES are kept for reference.
- If you're happy with your sample print and would like to go ahead with a larger run, remember to tell us the date and PET number of your sample print so we can reference it.
- We can't use samples for reference if you've since made changes to the artwork.
Can I see a letterpress or hot foil press sample?
Unfortunately it's not possible to produce samples for Rigid Signage, Posters, Letterpress, Hot Foil Press, Embossing or Edge Foiling due to the production methods, time and costs involved.
But you may like to see sample packs showcasing our different print finishes instead.
