We duplex our card stocks by hand!
When you choose Double Thick Stock for your printing, it's created by gluing and firmly rolling two sheets of the same card together to make an even thicker card (500gsm+).
But, you may like to print your designs on two different coloured cards, for instance, Gmund Colors Matt Black 350gsm and Gmund Colors Matt Winter White 300gsm to create really striking effects.
If so, please follow these instructions...
- Choose your printing (digital, white ink digital, letterpress etc)*
- Choose Double Thick Stocks.
- Choose one of your colours from the drop-down selection.
- Write in the comments the names of BOTH the card stocks you would like duplexing and add your printing to your cart.
- Add the Non-Standard Stock Fee to your cart.
*If you require white ink digital (on a darker stock) duplexed to digital CMYK printing on another stock, please order the white ink printed product. Write in the comments the names of BOTH cards stocks and that you would like white ink printing + CMYK. Take a look at the white ink and digital colour printed products first to see what stocks are offered as the selection will be different.
Our pricing for double-thick stocks is based on using two sheets of the same stock, which is a quicker and more consistent process than gluing two different coloured stocks together - which is why there's a fee for different combinations.
We strongly recommend choosing two colours from the same brand family (Woodland etc). Due to differences in texture and moisture absorption it's trickier to combine two different brands of stock together and there may be some slight curling in the result.
