Invites
Our most popular choice for Invites is 120 x 180mm which fits perfectly into our 130 x 190mm envelope. (Note how we allow 5mm each side of the invite for wriggle-room getting in and out of the envelope). This is also the closest to American 5x7” which is often a default template size. The 120x180mm is standard cost for Australia Post, if you choose a 148 x 210mm (A5), which needs a C5 envelope this will cost you twice as much to post.
Also, the larger you go the more the cost to print – and the more expensive the envelope too, so think budget when you choose size!
RSVPs
If you want to add an RSVP card, then we recommend 105 x 148mm (A6) as this can be posted back like a postcard (depending on the design) or used with a C6 envelope.
Other cards
Usually Wishing Well cards, Info cards or Details cards are smaller than the Invite - which is the centrepiece of your suite - we offer 70x120mm and 80x135mm sizes that would suit these cards.
Most couples will be more extravagant with the Invite and use fancy print processes like Letterpress and Hot Foil Pressing but keep the additional items more cost-effective – digital or white ink printing.
More than one item in the envelope?
Please bear in mind that if you have a few invites or use thicker duplexed stocks, then you may need a larger envelope with more wriggle-room than 5mm each side.
We recommend that you always prepare a sample set and check it fits in the envelope you are ordering.
