We specialise in print gorgeousness, and every card and paper stock we sell has been vigorously tested by our Printery Peeps for its in-house printing suitability for our Peterkin machines. This means that if we offer printing on a particular stock, you’re covered by the Peterkin Printery Guarantee.
Some papers are very versatile, while others have more restrictions about what we can and can't achieve with them.
You can order many of our card and paper stocks in A4 in single samples and packs.
If you wish to print on our paper and card stocks yourself, we recommend:
- Do your research about your printer. Every printer is different, and many 'home' printers are not suitable for printing stock thicker than 120gsm or on stocks that are textured.
- Buy a small quantity to test first, choosing a couple of stocks to work out which works best.
- Store your paper in a cool, dry environment keeping it flat and without any curling. If your paper has been subjected to humidity, even when it's dried out its performance could be affected.
- Inkjet printers don't work well with very glossy, coated or metallic stocks - test first!
- Digital printing at home or with Peterkin will vary slightly across the print run. Click here to learn more about digital printing.
Don't forget, paper is a natural, delicate product which will always vary slightly from batch to batch.
